Pathania inaugurates motorable bridge on Chowki-Ghordi road

UDHAMPUR, Feb 29: MLA Ramnagar, RS Pathania, today formally threw open 29 meter span steel girder motorable bridge on Chowki-Ghordi road costing Rs 92.22 lakh.
Whereas work on the said bridge was started and conceptualized in early nineties, it had last year that since his election as MLA from the area, Pathania was keenly following all half-left and yet-to-be-started projects including this motorable bridge that is supposes to connect Chowki with Ghordi and Ramnagar Assembly with Chenani-Ghordi Assembly segment.
He also inaugurated newly-constructed High School building under RAMSA at Nallah Mallein built at the cost of Rs 31.91 lakh. The building shall give fillip to educational activities in this far-flung area of Ramnagar.
While addressing a virtual sea of local people present on spot, Pathania said that he is committed for giving a four-dimensional fillip to developmental works in the area. It has been due to political witch-hunt and administrative neglect since the past few decades that these road-projects had not been taken up.
He also called upon the party cadres and people of Ramnagar not to get carried away or deviated by empty rhetoric and irresponsible criticism of certain political parties and political wayfarers.
“Whatever charges they are leveling against us had been their own styles of working whereas we believe in transparency, accountability and quality work with a futuristic vision and concern for aam aadmi”, he added.
Officers of various departments including PWD (R&B), RDD, PMGSY, PHE, Education Department, Soil Conservation Wing, Forest Department and Agriculture besides Sarpanchs and Panchs and prominent people of the area were present on the occasion.
