JAMMU, Feb 29: Rotary Club Jammu Midtown organized a free medical camp in the premises of Hari Singh Memorial Institute at village Sehora, Gole Gujral.
During the camp, a team of doctors comprising Dr Navinda Razada, Dr Inder Raina, Dr Meena (Gynecologist) and Dr Nandita, all from Medicare Nursing Home, examined more than 300 patients.
Free medicines were also distributed among the needy patients. Besides, a team of technicians led by Sushma Gupta from ‘Ram Pathology Lab’ conducted blood and other tests of patients free of cost.
While speaking on the occasion, president of the club, Baldeep Kour, disclosed that the club is going to open a vocational centre in the village for ladies.
Other Rotarians present on the occasion were Dr Veena Amla, Vikas Mahajan, GI Singh, Dr Anamika, Lajja Manhas, Swaran Jamwal and Balbir Singh Jamwal.
