JAMMU, Mar 1: Ek Sath Rang Mandal in collaboration with BLSKS and Street Play Society, Delhi University, presented Vijay Malla’s famous award winning play ‘Gori Maa Key Kaley Bachhey’ in nukkad form at Dhanventri Park, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, in its Monday Theatre series.
The play was enacted by senior as well as junior actors of ESRM. The play starts with the appearance of ‘Suturdar’ followed by the title song ‘Gori Maa Key Kaley Bachhey, Duniya Jhoothji Hum Sub Sachhey’.
The play shows how our young generation is too far away from moral values, culture, traditions, manners, and are mostly indulging in anti-social activities, drug addiction and evils, which are fatal for their future and progress of our country.
The play reminds them to remember our great leaders like Neta Ji Subash Chander Bose, Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Chandershekhar Azad, who sacrificed their lives for the country.
Abdul Rehman Tuckroo was the chief guest and famous cultural activist, Kamal Ganju, was guest of honour.
Actors who acted in this play were Taskeen Manjoor, Chetan Chark, Rahat Talwar, Ronit Mishra, Verender Kumar, Ashwani Sharma, MC Kotwal, Quart-ul-Ain, Gopal Singh, Kanta Sharma, Anuroop Pathania and Vijay Malla.
The play was written and directed by Vijay Malla and assisted by Anuroop Pathania.
