Incharge School Education Officers submit memorandum to Parvez Dewan

JAMMU, Mar 1: A delegation of Incharge School Education Officers, Lecturers and teachers, today called on Advisor to the Governor, Parvez Dewan and submitted him a memorandum of demands.
The delegation, under the banner of State Education Employees Coordination Committee, was led by provincial president Amar Nath Thakur.  The main demands, presented and discussed during the meeting, included; regularization of all incharge school education Officers/Lecturers (Joint Directors, CEO’s Principal, ZEO’s, Lecturers and Head masters) as per SRO-166 GAD OF 2005 and SRO 481 Edu. of 2010, implementation of order No. 252HE of 2012 and circular No. 17 of GAD 2012 regarding distance mode degrees recognized by UGC and DEC,  running grade to +2 lecturers, release of salary of teachers working under SSA, RMSA, KGBV and MDM Schemes and clearing all pending liabilities of 6th pay commission instalments and MDM, implementation of new transfer policy,  transfer policy for  ReT teachers,   regularization of ReT teachers having distance mode degrees acquired from Universities recognized by UGC and DEC, removal of pay anomaly of Pre-revised grade (6500-10500), stopping of mass promotion policy for quality education and improving result percentage, regularization of KGBV teachers.
Thakur requested the Advisor   Parwez  Dewan to   constitute a Committe under Commissioner Secretary School Education for regularizing all three thousand incharge cadres in a time bound manner  and informed that data and APRs have been submitted to Directorate Jammu & Kashmir for consolidation .
After hearing all demands very patiently, the Advisor  assured that regularisation committe would be constituted for regularizing all incharge officers and lecturers while  regularization issue of KGBV was also under discussion. Regularization of ReT teachers having distance mode degrees in being looked into and justice will be done, he added.
