JAMMU, Mar 1: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Chatroo Masood Qazi paid surprise visit to various Government schools and suspended five teachers including 3 masters for remaining unauthorizedly absent on the first working day of the schools after winter vacation.
As per official sources, the schools were opened today after winter vacations and to check the presence of teachers, SDM Charoo Masood Qazi paid surprise visits to various Government institutions.
At Government High School Dedpeth, Rifat Kouser (master) and Rakesh Kumar (teacher) were found absent, at Government Higher Secondary School Mugalmaidan, a teacher namely Amayat Muzamil was found absent, at Government Middle School Deller, a master namely Irshad Ahmad was found absent and at Government High School Damber, Gulshan Akhter (teacher) was found absent.
Taking serious cognizance, SDM ordered suspension of all the absentees.
