JAMMU, Mar 3: Hora Ashtami was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety and in this connection religious functions were held at various ashrams and shrines last night.
A grand function was held at Bhagawaan Gopinathji Ashram Udaywalla Bohri in connection with the Hora Ashtami. Hundreds of devotees thronged the Ashram for night long Jagran and offered prayers at the lotus feet of the Jagatguru Bhagawaan Gopinathji.
Deepali Wattal, Shanti Lal Sidh, Iqbal Koul, Master Ankit and others presented Bhakti Sangeet on the occasion who kept audience captive and spell bound. The entire atmosphere was spiritually charged. The night long Jagran concluded with Bhagawanji’s Aarti this morning. The Hora Ashtami was celebrated in Bhagawaanji’s other ashrams across the country as well as at Kharyar, Srinagar.
Hora Ashtami was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety at Krishna Satsang Bhavan, Anand Nagar Bhori on March 2. The function started at 6 pm yesterday and culminated this morning. The function was presided over by Anand Swami Pran Nath Bhat Gareeb Bhaijee and it was attended by a large number of devotees.
The bhajan and kirtan continued throughout the night and the entire environment was mesmerizing. Swami Ji while delivering pravachan in his usual extempore style delved on the importance of the KP community. The devotees were also served Prasad in the evening.
Hora Ashtami was also celebrated at Swami Kumar Ji Geeta Satsang Ashram Muthi where night long bhajan kirtan was held. The function was chaired by Swami Kumar Ji and a large number of devotees attended it. Swami Ji threw light on the religious significance of Hora Ashtami. The devotees were served with prashad afterwards.
In connection with celebration of Hora Ahstami a grand function was organized at Pushkara Swami Seva Ashram Bantalab Chinore and Najafgarh Delhi and a large number of devotees attended the function. The bhajan Kirtan were recited for entire night.
