KISHTWAR, Mar 3: A married woman has been kidnapped by six persons from Budhar Bounjwah area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar police station.
As per police sources, Mohammad Shafi, son of Ibrahim Gujjar of Budhar Bounjwah lodged a complaint with police station Kishtwar stating that six persons residing nearby his house had kidnapped his wife and also stole jewellery items on February 23.
He mentioned the names of the kidnappers as Jalal Din and Sain, sons of Noor Mohammad, Bashir Ahmed and Dil Mohammad, sons of Mohammad Yousuf, Hanif and Gaffar, son of Ibraheem, all residents of Budhar Bounjwah.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 51/16 under Section 366, 380, 109 , 504 and 506 RPC has been registered at Kishtwar police station and investigation started.
