BBMC-India submits memo to Guv

JAMMU, Mar 5: President, Biker Brotherhood Motorcycle Club (BBMC) India Jugraj Singh presented a memorandum to Governor NN Vohra.
In the memorandum, Jugraj stated that the rising fatal accidents in J&K have consumed several hundred precious lives including young boys and girls. An equivalent number of people have been left crippled for life just because of multiple issues confronting road and traffic conditions.
He stated that the situation is quite alarming and need to be addressed. BBMC- India was founded with mission to promote safe riding/ driving skills and make people specially youth aware about road safety.
In order to take their efforts little ahead and save precious human lives, he requested NN Vohra to issue directions to the Education Department to include ‘Road Safety’ chapter in the school curriculum so that young children are tapped at right age and they feel their responsibility towards safety of pedestrians and also try to become good road users.
