JAMMU, Mar 5: President Dogra Sadar Sabha Gulchain Singh Charak met with Chief Secretary BR Sharma and brought some burning issues to his notice, besides other various problems of the people of this region.
During the meeting Mr Charak brought to the notice of Chief Secretary that some un-scrupulous elements are hell bent upon to disturb the public peace and tranquility of Jammu region, which require immediate steps to nip the evil in the bud.
He also referred to the restoration of conservation work of Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex, which requires immediate attention of the authorities concerned.
He said recently some attempts have been made in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts of this region to disturb the peace and communal harmony. Chief Secretary was requested to deal with such elements strictly as per law, to ensure that such attempts are not repeated.
