JAMMU, Mar 5: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Dr. Pawan Kotwal today convened a meeting to review the status of ongoing mega projects being executed in Jammu.
Divisional Commissioner was apprised about the status of ongoing works on mega projects such as expansion of Jammu Airport, construction of Tawi Barrage/Artificial lake, Jammu Ropeway project, construction of multi-tier parking at General Bus Stand, making of Khanpur Nagrota Bus Stand functional, widening of road from Jewel Chowk to Canal Road, four laning of Jammu-Akhnoor Road from Canal Head to Akhnoor, widening of B C Road from K C Chowk to Janipur Road and widening of road from Green Belt Park to Satwari.
Dr, Kotwal while taking a review of the pace of works directed the concerned executing agencies to work in close coordination to remove bottlenecks impeding the expeditious completion of the project.He underlined the need for adopting professional approach while executing various developmental projects and cautioned the concerned departments against delay in meeting the deadline.
The meeting was attended by VC JDA Mubarak Singh, CEO ERA Vinod Sharma, Chief Engineer R&B Jammu Alok Mengi, Chief Engineer PDD Ashwani Kumar Gupta, Chief Engineer I&FC Rajeev Gandotra, ADDC Jammu Anuradha Gupta, ACR Jammu Dr Tahir Firdaus, Project Manager, Jammu Ropeway Project Noorul Hussain, Manager NHIDCL Push Dev Narayan and other concerned senior officers.
