Coalition Governments

Sir,
Perhaps the framers of the constitution might not have foreseen the consequences of weak and instable Govts due to inclusion of multi-party system. Here, party agenda or party politics are kept above the national interests. Every party to gain political supremacy remains engaged in strengthening their vote bank, which regardless to say, cause severe jolt to unity and solidarity of the nation.
Consequently, development of the masses gets retarded. The state too is victim of this malady. Demise of former Chief Minister Mufti Sayeed, the CM of the State, has shaken the political edifice to the extent that imposition of Governor’s rule was necessitated. It is uncontroversial that even in the prevailing system of governance, the masses will not remain ignored, yet the democratic process, as we are blessed with to enjoy, can’t  be implemented fully.
If a coalition Govt isn’t formed again, it would mean re-elections. Already the masses are subjected to poverty due to  unemployment phenomenon in the State, going for elections again and again would further worsen our economy. The parties, therefore, ought to keep the interests of the public above that of theirs.
Yours etc….
