JAMMU, Mar 8: A woman was found hanging this afternoon at a Dairy Farm in Bantalab area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the woman identified as Kanchan Devi (26) wife of Ramesh Kumar, a resident of Khawas (Rajouri), at present living in Bantalab, was found hanging with a hook in a cattle shed at a Dairy Farm, where she had been working for quite some time.
On getting information, a police party from police post Chinore reached the spot and shifted the body of the deceased woman to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where post mortem on the body will be conducted tomorrow.
The police has registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
