JD(S) highlights burning problems of people

JAMMU, Mar 8: Janta Dal (Secular) has asked the political parties to form Government within specific period or dissolve the State Assembly and hold fresh election.
Addressing the press conference, Mast Nath Yogi, president, Janta Dal (Secular) has demanded for dissolving the present Assembly and to hold fresh election. He said that there is discrimination in ration supply to BPL in the State, which should be removed. He added that Government ration Depots should fix time and date for distribution to the people of the Jammu region specially hilly areas like Bhaderwah, Kishtwar and Ramban, where poor people don’t get ration in time.
He said work at Pakal Power Project in Kishtwar should be carried on. He demanded for improved road condition in Batote to Kishtwar, Bhaderwah and other areas.
He said that Revenue pass books be issued to the farmers for land record and demanded for round the clock electricity as promised by the Government.
He said that tourist spots of Jammu region be developed including starting of ropeway, early completion of Tawi Lake and banning of private tuitions and streamlining fees of private schools and colleges.
