JAMMU, Mar 10: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) today condemned the State administration for disruption in supply of Government ration to the displaced Kashmiri pandit Community.
“KPs living in exile expected timely supply of ration for the month of February more so when ASKPC had already appealed the Government for the same in view of Mahashivratri, the most auspicious festival of Pandits but Government failed to do so and instead subjected the already tortured community to more and more harassment”, the conference said in a statement.
The conference said that the delay in supply of monthly ration to the hapless community in the garb of National Food Security Act is shameful and we strongly protests this most undesired and inhuman treatment of the community at the hands of administration.
ASKPC general secretary, Dr TK Bhat, appealed the Governor NN Vohra to take urgent steps to redress the grievances of the community.
