Four bovines rescued

JAMMU, Mar 10: Manwal police foiled bovines smuggling bid by rescuing 4 cattle from a Srinagar bound Tata Mobile vehicle.
As per police sources, on specific information, police team from Manwal police post laid a naka and intercepted a Srinagar bound Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02BD-4867.
During checking, police rescued 4 bovine animals from the vehicle, but the smugglers managed to escape from the spot taking benefit of the darkness.
A case under FIR Number 32/16 under Section 188 RPC and 3/5 PCA Act has been registered at Jhajjar Kotli police station and manhunt has been launched to nab the bovine smugglers.
Police team led by Incharge Manwal police post SI Tribhuwan Khajuria foiled the bovines smuggling bid under the supervision of SHO Jhajjar Kotli Inspector Ravinder Singh, SDPO Nagrota Bharat Bhushan Sharma and SP Rural Arun Gupta.
