SRINAGAR, Mar 11: Police today said a man attempted to end his life in Kupwara district of North Kashmir last evening.
A police spokesman said a 35 year old man (name withheld) hailing from Nachian in Karnah area of the district consumed some poisonous substance at his home. “He was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Tanghdar where from he has been referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar for further treatment,” he said.
The police spokesman said a case has been registered in this regard.
