JAMMU, Mar 11: Director General of Police (DGP) K Rajendra has constituted a high level Police Establishment Board to decide transfers, postings, promotions and other service related matters of police personnel including State Disaster Responding Force (SDRF).
The Board would be headed by the DGP himself as the Chairman. The AIG (Personnel) Police Headquarters will be the Member Secretary of the Board.
Other members of the Board included Special DG (Coordination) Police Headquarters, Additional DGP (Trainings) Police Headquarters, Additional DGP CID, Additional DGP Security, Additional DGP Armed and IGP Zone (as per the venue).
The Board will decide transfers below the rank of Deputy Superintendents of Police (DySPs), an official order said.
