Geelani discharged from hospital

SRINAGAR, Mar 12: Hardline Hurriyat chairman, Syed Ali Shah Geelani, was today discharged from a hospital in New Delhi where he was admitted on Thursday.
On Thursday morning, Geelani had complained of chest pain after which he was immediately moved to Max Hospital at Saket in New Delhi where he was admitted in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The doctors in the hospital conducted his many vital medical examinations including the ECG and was administered oxygen and after the test results, the separatist politician was declared stable by doctors. Later, he was shifted to General Ward and today he was discharged.
“Geelani has been discharged from the Max Hospital New Delhi this afternoon,” said Hurriyat spokesman, Ayaz Akbar, who is putting up at New Delhi. He said Geelani has been shifted to his temporary residence at Malviya Nagar and is feeling better.
