Bryan Adams’ vintage guitar defaced by customs officials

LOS ANGELES, Mar 13:  Bryan Adams’ vintage guitar was defaced by Egyptian customs officials.
The 56-year-old “Summer of 69” took to Facebook to share the picture of the “graffiti” done by officials with green highlighter.
“Airport customs graffiti on my 1946 Martin D-18 from Egypt. Back to the luthier…#bryanadamsgetup,” he posted.
Adams took to the social networking site again to assure everyone that the guitar “will be fixed”.
“TO ALL MY EGYPTIAN FRIENDS: Thank you for writing about the guitar, I really appreciate it, it will be fixed no problem. I want you all to know that I love your country and we had an amazing time there, we felt at home.
“The incident of defacing our instruments at airport customs is annoying, but it needed to be said. Much love to you all and look forward to bringing my family to visit you one day soon….Next time no green markers please!,” he wrote.
He also posted pictures of him performing in front of the Sphinx of Giza. (PTI)
