JAMMU, Mar 13: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its president Abdul Majid has made an appeal to all Deputy Commissioners of the State to complete the OBC survey at an earliest.
Addressing the meeting Prof Kali Dass general secretary of the Union said that despite the instructions of the Divisional Commissioner Jammu vide his No. 402/GS/OBC/1835 dated 04.02.2016 under the direction of the State Government, the Deputy Commissioners have not initiated the OBC survey in the State till date.
He said the AIBCU approached the higher authorities in the Social Welfare Department. in Civil Secretariat and there upon a reminder has been issued to all the DCs of the State vide its even order No. dated 09.03.2016 to complete the OBC Survey well in time. He said this is the third reminder of the State Govt. to all the Dy. Commissioners of the State and till date no initiative was taken by them in this regard..
All Central Committee members including M.R. Bangotra were present in the meeting.
