Pak should dismantle terror infrastructure: MP

JAMMU, Sept 12: Member Parliament from Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha constituency and senior Congress leader Madan Lal Sharma has said that Pakistan should dismantle the terror infrastructure in the Pak occupied Kashmir and other areas as the peace was better for both the neighbours.
In a press statement issued today, the Congress MP said that civil society in India and Pakistan has understood the benefits of peace and harmonious relationship. He said during his two visits to Pakistan with Parliamentarians’ delegation, he found that people in Pak want peace and better ties with India but there are some vested interests who create tension in which commoners suffer.
The Congress leader said that the Pakistan leadership should snub fundamentalists and dismantle the terror infrastructure across the border so that more confidence building measures could be initiated by both sides for the general interest of two nations and its people.
While welcoming the move of liberlization of visa, trade and travel by India and Pakistan and signing of a pact between Foreign Ministers of both the countries, Madan Lal said that it will facilitate the divided families especially from Rajouri and Poonch and PoK. He further expressed hope that this move of both the sides will make people understand each other. This will also promote cultural ties and pilgrimage on both the sides, he added.
