Main accused in threatening family with deadly weapons arrested

JAMMU, Mar 15: Miran Sahib police arrested the main accused involved in threatening a family with deadly weapons in Simbal Camp area last month.
As per police sources, on February 12, Dilbagh Singh (head of a criminal gang Dilbagh Group), son of Janak Singh along with his associates namely Mohinder Singh alias Sonu, son of Ujagar Singh and Tajinder Singh alias Jinda, trio residents of Simbal Camp barged into the house of a lady in search of their rival Happy at Simbal Camp.
At the time of incident, two members of the family (mother-daughter) were present in the house. After failing to find out Happy, they threatened his family members with deadly weapons and later fled from the house.
The family members reported the matter to Miran Sahib police and a case under FIR Number 28/16 under Section 170, 449, 458, 504, 506 and 34 RPC was registered and manhunt launched to nab the accused.
Meanwhile, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib police conducted raid and arrested the main accused Dilbagh Singh.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib police station SI Hilal Azhar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Harjeet Singh and SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal.
