JAMMU, Mar 15: The Mysore University has invited Chairperson of J&K State Accountability Commission, Justice BA Khan to present honourary Doctorate in Literature to renowned industrialist and philanthropist and Chairman of the Wipro Dr Azim Prem Ji on March 22.
The University is conferring the Doctorate on Dr Prem Ji for contribution in rural education. He could not receive it on the University’s last convocation earlier due to his heavy preoccupation.
The Mysore University, the oldest university in the country is celebrating its centenary and is holding a variety of programmes including a lecture series. While Dr Azim Prem Ji will deliver a lecturer on “Improving School Education in India”, Justice Khan will speak on the University Autonomous-a myth of reality on this occasion.
