SRINAGAR, Sept 12:
A medical student from Jammu was killed and four others, including two tourists from Kolkata and one from Uttar Pradesh, were injured after a portion of glacier in Ganderbal district suddenly broke down, police said today.
They said a group of tourists were on picnic, walking on Thajiwas glacier when it suddenly broke down.
Zubair Ahmad Choudhary, a medical student and resident of Poonch, died on the spot.
Four others, including two tourists from Kolkata and one from UP, were injured.
The injured were rushed to a hospital from where they were discharged after providing first aid. (UNI)
