JAMMU, Mar 18: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron, J&K National Panthers Party, called on Governor, N. N. Vohra, at the Raj Bhavan here today.
Prof. Singh raised issues with the Governor about the obtaining political situation and, besides, various matters of public interest.
Prof. Mehraj-ud-Din, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Kashmir also called on Governor.
The Vice Chancellor informed the Governor that the President of India has consented to be the Chief Guest at the Convocation of the University which is scheduled to be held in September, 2016.
Besides briefing the Governor about the present status of infrastructure development of the University to make it fully functional, the Vice Chancellor also discussed several other important academic issues.
