JAMMU, Mar 18: Sham Singh, a farmer from J&K, made the State proud by getting Krishi Ratna award for his contribution in the field of agriculture.
Sham Singh, a progressive farmer, is a son of Butti Singh and resident of village Badohi, block Purmandal, tehsil and district Samba.
He was presented the award by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar at World Culture Festival, held recently in New Delhi. The festival was attended by 37.5 lakh people from 155 countries.
