Jammu, Mar 19: A rusted shell was recovered from a nallah in Channi Rama area, falling under the jurisdiction of Bahu Fort police station.
As per police sources, some passerby noticed a shell lying near nallah in Channi Rama area and informed the police.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) was called.
The squad reached the spot and took the shell in its possession to defuse it with the help of army.
Police has taken cognizance in this regard.
