KATHUA, Mar 19: A young house wife who had received over 80 percent burn injuries at her residence in village Garha in Hiranagar tehsil and was shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment succumbed to burn injuries today.
She has been identified as Pinky, 32, W/o Salidner Kumar of village Garha. Her husband a CRPF Jawan had come on leave 12 days ago of the accident. The poor lady was cooking meals in the kitchen when she caught fire accidentally which she had said in her statement while she came out of kitchen to the inmates of the home.
Her dead body was handed over to her family by the police after autopsy at GMC for last rites. The Police has also registered a case under Section 174 RPC and started investigation.
