SaMaPa concert enters 5th day

SRINAGAR, Mar 20:  The Musical concert  SaMaPa, being organized  in the valley, today entered 5th day with presentation of a variety of  heart throbbing items like Qawalis by  Qawali Maestro Ustad Aslam Sabri and party, Sufi Vocal by  Ragini Rainu and Kashmiri folk music items by Abdul Rashid Hafiz and Party at Tagore Hall, Srinagar.
The objective of this concert is to promote Sufiyana Music beside encouraging local talent.
Among the other music personalities, Director Education Kashmir, Shah Faisal and Joint Director Information, Shafqat Iqbal were the prominent dignitaries present in this concert.
The festival is being conducted in collaboration with Divisional and District Administration, Department of Information & Public Relations, Department of Tourism, J&K Academy of Arts Culture and Languages, Radio Kashmir and Doordarshan Srinagar.
The festival commenced on March 16 and will conclude on March 26 during which 150 musicians will participate in around 16 different venues aimed at encouraging local talent in the State.
