JAMMU, Mar 20: The dead body of an unidentified man was recovered from a park falling within the limits of police station Nowabad.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body a beggar of age about 40-45 years was spotted by some passersby in a park in front of St Peter School, Jewel, two days ago. He said that they informed the police which shifted the body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH, Jammu, for identification and post mortem.
“A case in this regard was registered at police station Nowabad”, he said, adding preliminary investigations revealed that the beggar died due to intense cold.
