JAMMU, Mar 21: In a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) filed by two practicing Advocates namely Ajay Bakshi and Tariq Rasool Wani highlighting the inaction of the Government to deal with the situation caused by the unprecedented floods especially in Jammu region, Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice N Paul Vasanthakumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan has granted three weeks time to the State for filing fresh status report.
After hearing Advocate Sachin Dogra appearing for the PIL whereas Senior AAG Seema Shekhar appearing for the State, DB granted three weeks time to State for filing fresh status report regarding the relief granted or proposed to be released in favour of the flood victims under Prime Minister Relief Fund and Prime Minister Development Fund.
