SRINAGAR, Mar 22: Police today said they intercepted a car along Srinagar-Jammu National Highway near Jawahar Tunnel and recovered brown sugar from two non-locals.
A police official said a swift car bearing registration number PB08J/3080 was stopped and during search one kilogram of Psychotropic substance apparently Brown sugar was recovered from the car.
Two persons boarding the car namely Baldav singh and Gurpreet Singh of Punjab were arrested, he said, adding that a case under FIR number 60/16 under Section 8/21 NDPS Act was registered andnvestigation has been taken up.
