JAMMU, Mar 24: A man allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Krishna Nagar area falling under the limits of police post Canal Road.
According to police spokesman, the man identified as Dharamveer Kalsi (35) son of Harvans Lal, a resident of Krishna Nagar, Jammu, allegedly ended his life by hanging self with the hook of a ceiling fan at his residence on Wednesday.
On getting information from family members, police reached the spot and shifted the dead body to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after conducting postmortem it was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites.
The concerned police has registered a case and started investigations.
