JAMMU, Mar 24: Baksh Nagar police today arrested three accused and recovered a stolen motorcycle from their possession.
According to a police spokesman, in continuation to the ongoing drive of AVTAR team, police station Bakshi Nagar recovered a stolen CBZ motorcycle bearing registration number JK02AP-5933 from three accused identified as Anil Kumar son of Somnath and Neeraj Sumbriya son of Girdhari Lal, both residents of Katli (Samba) and Sumit Kumar son of Madan Lal, a resident of Railway Road, Vijaypur.
He said acting on the theft complaint under FIR number 47/2016 u/s 379/RPC registered at police station Bakshinagar, a special team led by Inspector Ashwani Sharma, SHO Bakshi Nagar and SI Kamalpreet Singh arrested the three accused on suspicion and during the sustained interrogation the said stolen property was recovered from their disclosure. He said that more recovery is likely to be made.
The overall operation was conducted under the direct supervision of Deputy SP Suganda Mahajan, SDPO West and SP North, Dr Vinod Kumar.
