JAMMU, Mar 24: HCL Carrier Development Centre in collaboration with Department of Computer Engineering & IT, IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Jammu, organized one-day workshop on topic “Implementation of Dot Net in Software Development” for the students of Computers, IT and Electronics & Communication Department, here.
Er Harpreet Singh, Project trainer, HCL and Ankush Balgotra, Marketing Executive, HCL were the resource persons for the workshop who apprised students about Dot Net and its implementation in projects.
Prominent among others present during the workshop were Prof KG Gupta, Principal, Er Ajay Jamwal, Dean (Adm) cum training placement, IECS, Er Amit Sharma, HoD, Computer Engineering Department, IECS, Swati Bakshi, Centre at HCL and Anirudh Gupta, CEO, HCL.
Industrial visit for the students of final year Mechanical Engineering Department to Krishna Cold Storage, Talab Tillo was also conducted by Department of Mechanical Engineering, IECS Polytechnic which was accompanied by Er. Deepak Kapoor, Lecturer and supervised by Er. HN Bhat,HoD, Mechanical Engineering Department.
Speaking on the occasion, Er Ajay Jamwal Dean (Adm)-cum-Trg. & Placement, IECS Polytechnic asserted such workshops and industrial visits will be very informative and exhaustive in nature which provides maximum technical exposure to Polytechnic students, making them more compatible with industrial requirements.
