It feels very bad when people who gave nothing to the nation are depicted and compared as martyrs e.g Shashi Tharoor depicted Kanhaiya Kumar as Bhagat Singh. Now not many people knew that Bhagat Singh was an atheist and he didn’t believe in God. Yes, he was impressed by the pattern of socialism in the times of Karl Marx but at the time of imperialism. It was the time when Indians being slave to the Britishers were unable to fulfill even their limited needs but to compare a leftist with the martyr who sacrificed his life for the nation is utterly wrong. I as a student of political science is stunned on the manipulation of facts by so called intellects. They say that Afzal Guru hanging was against the constitutional means whereas Afzan Guru had used every right under the constitution from appealing in the Supreme Court to the pardoning power of President. So if one is saying that it is against the constitution then either he does not believe in the President or he does not believe in the judicial system.
