Punjabi Lekhak Sabha conducts fortnightly literary meet

JAMMU, Mar 27: Punjabi Lekhak Sabha today conducted its fortnightly literary meet at Tagore Academy, Rani Talab, Digiana.
Ajit Singh Mastana, a well known Punjabi writer from Kashmir presided over the function, while writers and poets also attended the meet.
Two session of story reading and poem recitation were conducted in which MS Kamra, Pritam Singh Anjan, Swami Antar Neerav, Charanjeet Singh, Rahi Simbalpuria, Malik Singh Wafa, Harjeet Singh Uppal, Resham Kour, Amar Singh Kooka, Balwinder Singh, Pyara Singh Dhanjal, Ajeet Singh Mastana and Dr Baljeet Singh Raina. The others who attended the meeting included Kanwal Kashmiri, Dr Gurmeet Kour, Harbhajan Singh Sagar, Jang S Verman, Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik, Dr Monojit and Vikramjeet Vicky read out their stories and poems.
An interaction session was conducted where the stories and poems read in the programme were discussed. Various writers gave their suggestions regarding the stories and poetries.
Ajeet Singh Mastana, in his speech said that Punjabi Lekhak Sabha is doing very well in its scheduled activities. He added that the Punjabi writers and organizations are performing better than the organization working in other languages in J&K State.
Devinder Singh Vishavnagrik told the members that two days’ each workshops on stories and poetry will be conducted in future by the organization.
