JAMMU, Mar 27: A 25-year-old youth today died due to suspected poisoning in Baghe Bahu area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, in serious condition the youth identified as Bablu (25) son of Kaka Ram, a resident of Baghe Bahu, was shifted by his family members to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where doctors declared him as brought dead.
“Prima facie, it appears that the youth has consumed some poisonous substance’ the spokesman said, adding a case in this connection was registered at police station Baghe Bahu and investigations started.
He further added that the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary of the hospital for conducting post mortem tomorrow.
