JAMMU Mar 28: DGP Prisons S.P. Vaid today visited Central Jail Srinagar and took stock of the security arrangements and facilities provided to the Jail inmates.
DIG Prisons Dr. M.S. Lone and other officers accompanied him during the Visit.
Earlier, the DGP convened a meeting of the Review Board constituted by the Government to consider the cases of eligible convicted prisoners for premature release.
The recommendations of the Committee will be sent to the Government for necessary action.
