Four injured as auto turns turtle

JAMMU, Mar 29: Four persons were injured today when an auto turned turtle in Bagh-e-Bahu area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, an auto carrying three passengers turned turtle near Gujjar Nagar Bridge opposite University of Jammu, this morning, resulting into serious injuries to the auto driver and minor injuries to the passengers. All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, for treatment.
The injured were identified as auto driver, Kundan of Shahidi Chowk, Jammu, Sunita (40) and Veenu (35) of Christian Colony, Residency Road, Jammu and Shamshed Begum (40) of Bhaderwah.
“The mishap occurred due to alleged negligence of the driver”, the spokesman said, adding a case in this connection was registered at police station Bagh-e-Bahu and further investigations were underway.
