JAMMU, Apr 1: Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta today kick started the works of lanes and drains in Gorkha Nagar at Bagh-e-Bahu.
The works are being executed by the Jammu Municipal Corporation at a cost of Rs 3.9 lakh.
The Speaker said that with the completion of this project long pending demand of the people has been fulfilled. He also inspected the other ongoing developmental works of the area and stressed upon the concerned agencies to complete the works in time .He directed the concerned officers to ensure prompt redressal of public grievances.
Among others officers of the concerned departments and large number of people were present on the occasion.
