JAMMU, Apr 1: A delegation of Migrant Teachers Welfare Association (MTWA) led by its president Ramesh Raina called on Deputy Director (Accounts) Fund Organization Jammu and reiterated its long pending demand of computerization of GPF Account of migrant employees.
The Deputy Director assured the delegation that the demand will be met within the shortest possible time.
Earlier a meeting of MTWA was held in which some burning issues confronting migrants were discussed. The meeting appealed the Government to shift the migrant schools of Satwari and Shastri Nagar as was done previously in case of migrant schools of Bakshi Nagar which were shifted to Bohri and Durga Nagar respectively. Besides, the teachers promoted in 2013 and 2014 be adjusted in camp schools of Jammu.
The MTWA demanded issuance of RBA certificates in favour of migrants belonging to RBA areas of Kashmir Valley.
