JAMMU, Apr 6: Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti held first joint meeting with PDP-BJP Ministers and legislators over dinner tonight at her official residence here.
Deputy Chief Minister Dr Nirmal Singh was also present among others.
Official sources said Mehbooba called for coordination among Ministers and legislators of the Alliance partners and help programmes and policies of the Government reach to the common man. She stressed for people-friendly approach of Ministers and legislators.
Calling for good governance, the Chief Minister stressed that the Ministers and legislators of both the parties should address grievances of the people and stay in regular contact with them.
In his, address, Dr Nirmal Singh said the two parties should work together for betterment of all three regions of Jammu and Kashmir and ensure their equitable development.
Majority of Ministers and legislators of the two parties attended the dinner.
