JAMMU, Apr 6: President of India, Pranab Mukherjee today gave nod to the transfer of Justice Ramalingam Sudhakar from Madras High Court to the Jammu and Kashmir High Court.
“In exercise of powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, President, after consultation with the Chief Justice of India, has transferred Justice Sudhakar to J&K High Court”, reads an official communication.
The President has directed Justice Sudhakar to assume charge of his office in J&K High Court on or before April 19, 2016.
