People suffering due to wrong policies of Govt: PDP

KATHUA, Sept 14: Calling upon party workers to launch a war against National Conference led coalition regime for its failure to solve basic problems of the common masses, general secretary of People’s Democratic Party, Thakur Balbir Singh said that the present dispensation has failed on all fronts and woes of commoners have been mounting due to anti-people policies being propagated by this regime.
Addressing a series of public gatherings in Chingi Makwal and other areas of Ramkote, Thakur Balbir Singh said that National Conference-Congress coalition was nothing but an arrangement between two parties to brazenly enjoy the power. He said that Congress was equally responsible for the problems of people because this party was equal partner in the Government. He said that underdevelopment in this belt was a clear indication that this Government was non serious towards solving problems of the people. He especially mentioned that people for the last 10 years have been demanding bridge over Pray nullah but no action has been taken so far.
“This coalition has been exposed before the masses because both NC and Congress have to fulfill the promises they have made with the people of this State during the Assembly Elections”, he said and recalled that National Conference had made scores of promises with the people but all these promises remained only on papers. He called upon his party workers to educate the masses to about the revolutionary steps which taken by Mufti Mohammed Sayeed during his tenure as Chief Minister of the State.
