JAMMU, Apr 8: A deputation of Accounts Employees Association today met the Finance Minister, Dr Haseeb Drabu and apprised him of their pending issues.
Under the joint leadership of Niyaz Ahmed Qadri, president Civil Secretariat unit and Kulwant Singh, president Jammu unit of the Association, the delegation welcomed Dr Drabu and extended full support.
The leaders projected their pending issues and sought early redressal. They demanded reorganization of Accounts personnel, declaration of professional service, withdrawal of clarification increment bar SRO 160, implementation of SRO 272, change of designation, conduct of departmental examinations in time and removal of 18 months barrier, filling up of vacant posts, raising welfare fund for accounts employees, improve infrastructure at Govt Treasures and creation of posts for Cell system in every department.
The Finance Minister listened to their issues patiently and assured to take up their genuine issues on priority basis.
Mohd Shafi, SKS Khalsa, Qayoom, Pridman, Imtiaz Ahmed Shah, Prem Thappa, Ram Pal Sandhu and Anil Sharma from the Association also accompanied.
