KATHUA, Apr 8: Two bike riders snatched the gold chain of a woman on College Road in the town here this evening.
Reports said that two unknown youth who were apparently chasing the woman, passed closer to her on the road side and snatched her gold chain around her neck.
It was at around 6.30 pm and the woman identified as Bimla Devi, wife of Bodh Raj, resident of Patel Nagar, was moving along the road side holding the hand of her child. She raised alarm and some people rushed there for help but the bikers sped away from the spot and vanished. The matter has been reported to Kathua police.
