Vibodh takes stock of people’s grievances

RAJOURI, Apr 9: Member Legislative Council (MLC) Vibodh Gupta today toured Mubarakpura, Sadhyal and Tandwal Kariya areas of the district to redress various issues of public importance which included construction of roads at rural areas.
People of these areas apprised the MLC with various issues pertaining to damaged roads, road connectivity, shortage of electricity and water supply and construction of small bridges on nallas.
Speaking on the occasion, the MLC said that road connectivity to far-flung areas has given priority by Narendra Modi led Government as proper connectivity is the basic requirement for development and prosperity of any area.
He said that there are schemes for the welfare of people living away from major cities and towns as PM Modi is of the firm belief that development of every area is must for progress and prosperity.
The MLC highlighted various Central and State Government schemes and added that such schemes help provide economic benefit and financial support to the people irrespective of social and geographical factors.
He said that being MLC, he has been taking up the issues of the people with various ministries and suggesting to them new projects and schemes for all the sections of the society.
