JAMMU, Apr 13: Coming down heavily on Modi Government and its allies for failure at almost all the fronts, senior Congress leader and former Minister Dr Manohar Lal Sharma today described people in the BJP Government as ‘bluff masters’.
In a statement issued here today, Dr Sharma pointed out that “the BJP once again has broken its promise that the Coalition Government shall not allow anyone in the State to defy the law of the land and take part in anti- national activities and give full protection to the true nationalist people any where in Jammu and Kashmir or at any public place. The people of whole country saw in Kashmir valley the latest brutal assault by J&K Police on the Nationalist students who were peacefully insisting for flag hoisting and raising pro- National slogans at NIT Srinagar recently.
Dr Sharma accused the BJP Govt at the Centre for not taking any strict action against the nine students who were found to be involved in the anti- national activities in the JNU campus even after the lapse of more than two months. Similar, is the situation at NIT Srinagar where no action has taken against the students who were involved in anti-national activities even after much hue and cry by the people of all sections of state as well as the country.
He further questioned the BJP Govt what action they have taken yet or what action they will take in future to curb such anti national incidents ? Where stands the most popular slogans of Mr Modi displaying 56 inches chest to tackle Pakistan and its sponsored proxy war in India particular in Kashmir ? What happened to JIT which supposed to investigate the Pathankote attack in which Pakistan refused to allow NIA team to visit Pakistan for investigation ?
Dr Sharma said that BJP and its allies are befooling the nation by only giving the slogans of nationalism but did nothing in dealing with the issues. He asked why their leaders are completely silent on the atrocities on the nationalist students over the unfurling of National flag ?
