Pathania reiterates focus on developing far-flung areas

RAMNAGAR, Apr 16: Ranbir Singh Pathania, MLA Ramnagar, took stock of developmental activities at various villages at Ramnagar and reiterated his focus on providing basic living facilities like clean drinking water, electricity, healthcare, animal healthcare, education facilities, etc, in far-flung and less-developed areas.
While addressing people at Katwalt, he announced setting up of J&K Bank branch there. He also issued instructions for installation of high-mast lights at Puji Mata temple, Thougardwara temple and at Bus Stand, Katwalt. He also announced boundary walls for M/s Sangli and M/s Chigli Katwalt.
He demanded for improvement-cum-upgradation of Chowki-Katwalt, Ramnagar-Chowki and Johnu-Ramnagar roads. He also inaugurated newly-constructed school buildings at M/S Sangli and M/s Chigli Katwalt. He directed for construction of tractor road upto Chigli Katwalt and proviso of drinking water facility. He directed the authorities for immediate operationalization of Damak and Lakhod irrigation canals.
He announced drilling of hand pumps at Chowki and Katwalt and restoration of drinking water supply at Chowki and surrounding areas. He stressed upon developing High School Katwalt as an institution of learning, inculcating discipline and values amongst the students.
Sarpanches, Panches and prominent people of the area including Vijay Kumar Sharma, Jagat Ram, Shankar Das, Suram Chand, Darshana Devi, Nasib Singh, Romal Singh, Zalim Singh and including local leaders were present.
He addressed meetings at Ban, Puji, Sangli, Chigli Katwalt, Majua, Samroga, Chowki and Damak villages.
